You may opt to go by water instead and take a ride down the Hillsborough River by way of the hop on and off Pirate Water Tax which stops in Tampa Downtown’s best restaurants and bars for nighttime entertainment.

Things To Do In Tampa Bay

Tampa, Florida is most well known for being home to Busch Gardens, part of the SeaWorld family of amusement parks, and one of the most visited theme parks in the US. The Florida Aquarium and Zoo Tampa are 2 other notable attractions in the area, popular with both locals and tourists. Amusements and beaches aside, Tampa has many diverse things to do to suit everyone’s interests.

When it comes to Tampa Bay, picturesque scenery and an average of 361 days of sunshine each year create an ideal setting for those ready to explore and discover new treasures. If you're lucky, you may even spot a manatee or dolphin from the shore line

Downtown Tampa’s recently completed Riverwalk is the perfect place for a cool early morning stroll. Just a little over 2 miles, it is the perfect distance for relaxing walks. Here you will not only be treated to fantastic views of the skyline, but you will also enjoy easy access to top attractions such as: The Florida Aquarium, the Tampa Museum of Art, and Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park Riverwalk Boating. It’s also conveniently lit up at night, creating the perfect setting for romantic date night strolls.

Armature Works is a fully restored mixed-use building that breathes new life into the historic Tampa Heights neighborhood. With its unobstructed view of the Hillsborough River, the historic structure has been reinvented as a premier community destination with innovative eateries, Heights Public Market, reimagined event spaces and an exclusive coworking space.
